At our facility in Essen, PCC Plasthan GmbH manufactures special prepolymer-based polyester foams that are processed into polishing pads (primarily for vehicle detailing). To expand the team there, we’re looking for you to join us as a sales representative (m/f/d). We offer a varied and interesting range of responsibilities with a high degree of autonomy.

• Identifying, approaching, and acquiring new customers, as well as maintaining and expanding long-term customer relationships
• Conducting complex price and contract negotiations through to completion
• Participation in trade shows and customer events
• Monitoring competitors and market trends, as well as analyzing sales figures (reporting)

• Experience in technical B2B sales
• Negotiation Skills
• Strong communication skills in German and English
• Social Skills and Team Spirit

• Training as a master painter or continuing education in vehicle detailing
• Practical experience working with polishing systems from various manufacturers
• Good knowledge of polishing processes and paint preparation
• Network in the vehicle reconditioning, painting, or car care industry; Professional Detailing

• We’re not looking for a traditional salesperson, but rather a point of contact who can engage with professional users on an equal footing.
• You understand paints, polishes, and polishing pads from your own hands-on experience. You can explain to a detailer, paint shop, or manufacturer why a particular pad works better, provides more cutting power, runs cooler, or achieves a better finish.
• If you already have professional experience in vehicle detailing, paint correction, or training on polishing systems, and are now looking to take the next step in your career in sales and business development, you’ve come to the right place.
