PCC Autochem: Fleet expansion of tractor units and trailers

• 2015: 6 trucks with independent air-conditioning – working while the engine is off (Volvo)

• 2013: 9 bulks for the transport of hazardous liquids (VanHool), 1 kipper for the transport of hazardous liquids (Magyar), 2 chassis

In 2012, PCC Autochem invested in a telematics system. The system has been fully operational since early 2013 and provides continuous real-time data on vehicle positions. After the system's implementation, our company began intensive expansion work in collaboration with programmers to add new useful features. Through this collaboration based on PCC Autochem's experience, the fleet monitoring system has become a multifunctional tool. In addition to providing location information, it offers significant time savings through better utilization of drivers' working hours and provides current insights into traffic situations, fuel consumption control, and data collection. This has led to higher service quality and thus increased customer satisfaction on the one hand, and contributed to reducing our costs on the other.

PCC Autochem has initiated the implementation of new transport and forwarding software to improve administration, transport and route planning, as well as customer relationship management. However, the testing phase revealed that the software was not adapted to the specifics of our company. Currently, the project is on hold, but work is being done on the specifications to ensure that the final version of the software meets all our expectations and requirements.

Also in 2012, PCC Autochem completed work on developing a document management and circulation system. Since then, all paper documents are scanned, allowing them to be downloaded at any location, ultimately enabling an increase in service quality. In 2015, the workflow system was supplemented with new areas to ensure a modern, more automated, and secure document circulation.
