Gliwice terminal: Expansion and modernization

PCC’s Gliwice terminal, located some 35 kilometers from Katowice, is a fully fledged intermodal hub handling container cargos from Upper Silesia. It offers a particularly favourable location in the vicinity of two trans-European transport corridors, one being Berlin-Dresden-Wrocław-Lemberg-Kiev and the other being Gdańsk-Katowice-Sillein (Slovakia). The operating area was enlarged from 30,000 sq m to 50,000 sq m by the expansion in the fourth quarter of 2015.
