PCC and Chemours have entered into a chlorine supply agreement which is subject to certain customary conditions precedent. The new facility will utilize state-of-the-art technology to maximize energy efficiency and provide up to an annual nameplate capacity of 340,000 metric tons once the plant is operational. The co-product, caustic soda, will be sold by PCC to strategic partners and on the open market. Construction is expected to begin in early 2026 with the plant being operational in 2028.     <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur partnership with Chemours exemplifies PCC Group\u2019s commitment to grow in chemicals by building upon long-term relationships,\u201d said Peter Wenzel, CEO, PCC SE. \u201cWe are dedicated to using our decades-long experience to safely and responsibly extend our chemical business at this facility.
