It facilitates the fast and efficient turn-around of cargos both along east-west routes between Western and Eastern Europe, and also along the north-south axis from the Baltic ports of Gda\u0144sk and Gdynia to the Adriatic ports of Koper and Trieste. The annual handling capacity was significantly expanded in 2015 \u2013 by 150% \u2013 to 250,000 TEU (20-foot ISO standard containers). PCC Intermodal S.A. commissioned the terminal in 2011 as the first advanced logistics and handling center in central Poland.
